Perkins to leave Museum

BENNINGTON -- Bennington Museum Executive Director Stephen Perkins is planning to step down at the end of June, museum officials announced on Thursday.

There was a little Me in the class I taught this afternoon. She looked just like I did at her age - red hair with bangs and freckles forming a bridge over her nose - and, when presented with a description of a time when there were no cars or telephones or electricity, she said, "I think that would be nice."

I finally remembered to take the lower back chair thingy from home and put it in my car. I love my Cream Puff Superoo (when it's working) but it has never been comfortable. At work I have two decent sized storage areas, both of which have been jam packed with who-knows-what for the last 2 1/2 years. Edit: Hahaha! He just came back downstairs rolling his eyes and bemoaning the fact that he just called himself a dork on regional public radio!
