Cringing slightly at how the Amy haters are going to run with this. But lots of fun. Heh, the bananas line. Again? I sense a theme. Steven Moffat, you are a strange man.
I've been trying to read Wise Man's Fear, but I've hit the sexual awakening stage of Kvothe's Joseph Campbell Hero Journey, and... meh. If I hadn't read Patrick Rothfuss' blog for a while I don't think it would bother me, but I am Do Not Wanting right now. Although to be fair, I don't know if it's really the book or if I'm just suffering traditional hero epic fantasy burnout in general.
This thing could be a little shorter, though. I don't mind long books, but I just read through multiple chapters sitting around in a forest waiting for bandits. Length with a purpose = fine. Length that is a complete waste of my time = not so much.
