Spent a few minutes speed-reading thru LJ tonight, taking a short break from reading textbooks and class forums. I didn't get near enough caught up on this weekend, even though I skipped church tonight (unheard of for me!). I feel like I've been beaten over the head with a textbook everyday for 3 weeks, and I just want to watch tv or read something fun. *wimper*
In happier news, yay Ky - SEC champs! So riddle me this - Ky beats Florida twice, including TODAY, and they're a 4 seed while Florida is a #2. Huh?
And happy birthday to me: Doctor Who Series 6 Begins in the US on April 23rd
ETA: I forgot to update on our new dog - We've taken him to the vet, he doesn't have a chip and was given a clean bill of health re: heartworms and such. He's only about 10 months old, 72 pounds, and is a German Shepard/Rottweiler mix. That breed mix sounds kind of scary but he's really the biggest sweetie ever. He was really scared at the vet (took me a good 5 minutes just to get him in the building), but he was very well behaved overall. And when he saw another dog in the waiting room, he hid behind me! He's such a goof. We're naming him Charlie.
