Summary: Gojyo gets it
“There had better be room at this next town, Hakkai.”
“Ahaha, I’m afraid that travelling to see loved ones is a popular pastime in this part of the world at this time of the year.” Hakkai apologised with a scary smile on his face* that failed to have any other effect on Sanzo other than a quiet harrumph. “We might find that there is no room at the Inn.”
It wasn’t often Gojyo got one of Hakkai’s occasional refrences. He didn’t read nearly as much as his friend or the damned monk, so how could he get obscure book references that made those two smirk with amusement? Goku was oblivious as usual, but this time he got it.
“Don’t worry about it though, Monk. You and the monkey can share the manger!”
Hakkai’s smirk was enough to put a grin of his own firmly in place, but the utterly confused took that fleetingly appeared on Blondie’s face was better than a lifetime of Christmas presents.
