Today was my first day back at my old school... you know, the school I dropped out of because of Colin; the school that I am now going back to because I can't face the new one. For the most part, I was happy to be back. Everything smells the same (bad), even though it doesn't look the same. There are new kids, for one. I recognized a few faces without knowing the names.
I spent most of the day with Larissa. Why? Well, because we met up in Student Serivces because we both had schedule issues - as in, she wants to change hers, and I needed one. We met this girl with hot pink hair and a Pikachu shirt, who's a Grade 9. As first started, Larissa left... and then came back because she was late for class and didn't want to walk in to a room full of people. So she hung out with me for period one. We went to the Office about my schedule... then to the small gym, which seemed smaller, only to find out that they didn't have my schedule either... then we went to the Office again, and they sent us back to Student Services....
Larissa stayed for period two, which she doesn't have a class during anyway, during which she tried to look at college articles and I kept telling her not to (covering my anxiety with "Please pay attention to me!", though she didn't buy it). Then, during third period... well, it's our lunch anyway - for all the Grade 11s and 12s. We got kicked out of Student Services and went hunting for my favourite teacher of all time - Ms W., who was my Grade 9 English, Grade 11 English and Grade 12 Children's Lit teacher. And we found her!! We talked for about twenty minutes about the summer and life, and apparently she's "seen" me on the streets - meaning that she keeps thinking that she sees me, when really it's someone else XD IIIIII felt flattered - and totally knew the feeling!!
After that, I walked Larissa to her period 4 class (which is Media Arts, but she wants to change it, and I'm trying to get her to join my 4th period class). I went back to Student Services and read Paper Towns for an hour (really, not the best book, but hey, it's John Green!) And then, at 2:15, fifteen minutes before the last bell... I had a schedule! -beugals play-
My final schedule iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiis:
Period 1: SPARE
Period 2: Peer Leadership
Period 3: Lunch
Period 4: Sociology
Period 5: World Issues.
Since Peer Leadership involves spending time with Grade 9s, I might get to see the cute pink haired girl again :o) New friend on the horizon? Better be!!! :P
The entire day, I found myself subconsciously looking into the eyes of every guy. Hoping that maybe, just maybe, I could fall in love at first sight again. That something would happen - anything.
But it won't. It never will.
