Hey, Ya'll :o)
I spent the last few days at Destiny's again. It was fun - she made me do karaoke though. I swear to God, that woman is the only reason that I sing at all anymore. I'm too embarrassed to most of the time... we also watched "The Proposal" again. She made an amazing dinner yesterday - cooked over the hot stove all day long, just for me, her and Darren! (Damn, we're lucky!) I asked her roughly how to make it, and I plan to make it for my own family and blame the incredible recipe on her :P
Tonight we went to a party at Heather's house, which was kind of a "Goodbye, Have Fun At Uni" party for Laura and Carter. Heather made two roasts, AND gravy AND quinoa salad with tomatoes, vinegarette and feta cheese, AND a desert tart with rasperries drizzled in chocolate. And J. J. made potato salad. And Melody made brownies! I swear, my friends make me feel like such a SLACKER!! Lol. We mostly did karaoke there, too, which it turns out that everyone excels at except me (especially Heather, of course, and Lindsey!) Carter and J.J. introduced me to a cool new song called "Skullcrusher Mountain" that I've fallen in love with, haha :P (If you've heard the song, you'll get it). I met Lindsey's boyfriend Andrew for the first time, and he almost killed his parent's car! But I think my favourite part of the night was this conversation:
Amanda: No, Destiny, I've already seen everything!
Destiny: No you haven't!
Amanda: Yes I have, we get changed in front of each other all the time!
-room goes quiet-
Destiny: Yeah, with bras on!!
J. J.: I always seem to come in at the right moment.
I wore the dress I've been dying to wear all summer :o) I got away with it too - I dooon't think my parents recognized it as "the breakdown dress". They just said it was pretty.
... I'll go read all the posts I've missed now. Sorry, guys!
