My Brother and His GF Moving Out?
You know things have been bad when your family is counting down the days to when Kourtnei and my brother move out. Well...it seems it may really be happening on the first week of July. They've got a house (or an apartment? Probably house) available in Yorba Linda. They'd be moving in with a room-mate, so he can help them pay the rent on it. We'll see how that turns out, but one thing for sure is once they and the dogs are out, they're not coming back here.
Maybe there will finally be an end to the chaos here. Our family has been ripped to shreds (and I don't think that's really an exaggeration) ever since Kourtnei moved in here (actually really since she first met my brother.) I will of course still be sad about my brother leaving, especially since it feels like we've had no relationship for the past 5 or 6 years. I still wish he had found a better girl, but what can you do. I just want some peace right now. I think we all do. It's not like they were enjoying their time here either. They wanted to move out, but found it extremely difficult because of the dogs. They'd have to get a house if they wanted to keep the dogs. Kourtnei wasn't willing to give them up, so that's why it's taken so long. So, hopefully their moving out will remove the tension, and believe me, it has been really bad and unpleasant at times. I'm most looking forward to having the big TV free, so I can watch movies almost whenever I want. That's that. Hopefully, they will get out there and learn what surviving on your own is like.
