Didn't See The Schnibble and The End of the World

May 20, 2011 11:10

I finished The Bizarre Adventures of Woodruff and the Schnibble yesterday. I'm sort of disappointed I never got to see what the Schnibble looked like, but I guess it was more of a "thing" than a "creature." All you get to do is harness the power of the Schnibble, but you don't get to see it. All that talk of the Schnibble returning, amounted to pretty much nothing. But hey, I saved the universe from corruption. Anyway, I really enjoyed this game. It was probably one of the weirdest I've ever played (it really lives up to the "bizarre" name), but it had a great story. I was eager to see what would happen next.

Now, I'm playing another game from Coktel Vision/Sierra, Goblin's Quest 3. I've probably played this game a half dozen times, but I think it's great and totally fun. Again, I'm not sure if I'll be able to make a gameplay video of it though since ScummVM doesn't seem to like the Fraps program.

Now, according to some Christians the end of the world is tomorrow. I don't believe that of course, but it's a nice excuse to maybe live it up? My idea of living it up is going to see Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and then maybe having some chips and dip later. I also thought it might be funny today to watch Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End. Yes, since it's in the title, it would be perfect. If the world does in fact end tomorrow, then I guess this would be my last post and I have planned my last day having fun.
