Things Are Falling into Place

Woke up a little after 9 AM. Gloomy out.

Trying to decide what to do. I need to go to Bloomington to make up the lab assignment that I missed while I was in San Jose. I'd like to take a nap, but if I have to come down to sign a lease, I should go right away. I probably should just go, but I REALLY want to take a nap.

Tried calling Aldi to ask them to save boxes, but Aldi store numbers are unlisted "to streamline operations".

It's only 10:30, so I have time for a QUICK nap.

The mobile home park just called, and I have an appointment for 4 PM. No nap. Need to get a couple of cashiers checks for the mobile home while I'm up there.

Got the cashiers checks. Did my homework assignment. Signed the lease on the mobile home. Sigh of relief. Walked though to try to figure out where to put things. Asked at Dollar Tree if they would save boxes for me.

Now I'm at home with Zara on my lap. I'm going to eat some Ramen and take a nap. Then I'll get packing.

Took a nice nap with Zara.

Drat. Apparently I need to register the girls in Lincoln. I'm trying to find their rabies tags. (They don't have collars.) One more thing to do. Found their tags and certificate of vaccination. Apparently the vet has been taking care of the registration, or at least, I've been getting charged for it. The mobile home managers want a picture of the girls, so I need to pull some off of Facebook and print them at Walmart.

Why is everything so complicated?

Hmm. I could be doing something, but Mimi's on my lap. I need to call Walmart at 10 PM about boxes, so I'll let her stay until then. Then I'll feed them and myself. I called, and I need to pick up the boxes by 9 AM, so I'm going to feed myself and crash.

Despite my grumbling, things are falling into place. x-posted from Dreamwidth
