In Which I Stop Getting in My Own Way

I’m mulling over “hall trees,” those pieces of furniture with hooks and places to put shoes. I had thought that I wanted a mud room by the back door, but there’s a direct path from my car to the front door.

It’s still snowing lightly. Had a nice nap.

I got 1001 Ideas for Kitchen Organization, and it already gave me some ideas. Also, How to Keep House While Drowning, Beautifully Organized (which looks useful) and the Beautifully Organized Home Planner. I’m accumulating quite a long list of stuff to get once I’m in Urbana. I’m trying to figure out where I can get bins for decluttering (purge, donate, etc.)

I discovered that I can recycle the AirTags paired to my stolen iPhone. And I finally got a waterproof case for my new (ish) iPhone.

I went to go get my replacement Apple Watch. I just went and didn't argue with myself that I didn't feel like going. It took five minutes in the Apple Store. I then got some pizza and ice cream for dinner. Then I came back and went to Lowe's. I got ice melt, so I'm ready for whatever weather we get on Tuesday, and I looked at snow blowers. I really liked one that was small. They called it a power snow shovel. I don't need a big honking machine because all I need to do are the sidewalks and porch. However, because I'm on a corner lot, I have more sidewalks than most people.

I thought about going to Best Buy and order Nest devices, but I decided to use Amazon (done).

I found the player piano that I want (assuming that it sounds good), but they want $3600 for it. Not sure when I’ll be able to get it. It looks well-maintained.

I bought another (used) down jacket on eBay because I don’t know if I’ll be able to get mine unstuck.

I ransacked the place looking for a refill on one of my meds, only to find that it was in the car. It's probably not great that it's been sitting out in the cold. Oh well.

And somehow it's gotten late. I should get to bed soon.
