Home Insurance

I met with the trust people about the home insurance. It'll be effective on Friday, so I'll drive to Urbana on Friday and meet the painter on Saturday at 9 AM.

Now I’m thinking that I should put the player piano under the stairs to leave wall space for bookcases. Oh, and I think that I’ll use the area by the back door and basement stairs for cleaning supplies. I found a cabinet that I like.

Mom has a tall basket that I think that I’ll take with me as an “donations” bin. Then I’ll get rid of it when I’m done decluttering.

Got the garbage and recycling out. After a rest, I need to get the remaining boxes downstairs and wash a litter box.

I looked at lava lamps after reading a discussion of them on DW. No, Adrienne, you don’t need a lava lamp. I have plenty of stuff that I do need to get. (I’m counting organization stuff as “need”.)

Mimi is very unhappy that I didn’t go upstairs and snuggle with her. I’ve created a monster:) No, I went upstairs, and that’s not what she wanted. I gave her some dry food, and she’s eating it. It’s like playing 20 Questions with someone who doesn’t answer the questions.

I received the Carol Burnett DVDs. Excellent! And some dog-training DVDs.

I went up and snuggled with Mimi and calmed her down. Oh crud, I need to do laundry.

There’s a chance of snow on Friday in the evening, so I need to bug out early. I need to check the weather for the rest of the trip.

The organizer's helper would like a few things from my mom's house, and in return, he'll help me do some packing. Sounds like a plan to me :)

I got the rest of the wrappings off of the new plants and watered them. The money tree was looking unhappy. The plant people gave me two small bonus plants. One is some sort of evergreen and the other I think is a Christmas cactus? Both poisonous to cats, so I need to give them away. They’re currently on the breezeway.

I’m going to put clothes in the dryer, do dishes, soak a litter box, and call it a night.

chores, plants, furniture, tv, weather, house, mimi
