Organizing Extravaganza Day 2
I ordered Clare (paint) swatches to be sent to me. I ordered several different blues to see what I like the best. I need to order Pottery Barn swatches too for the loveseat and chair for the living room (done). I’m leaning toward a moss green for the loveseat and chair.
Hmm. It just occurred to me that I could get the paint shipped here and drive it down. The company says not to let it freeze.
Got up with my alarm at 5 AM. I need to work on the bedroom so that the organizer can get in here. I really want to go back to sleep. I can do the room by myself if need be.
Cats: Food! Now that she’s eaten, Mimi wants me to go back to bed. I’m explaining to Zara that I’m not giving her more food no matter how cute she’s being.
Kroger had saved my "cart," so I just added hand soap and submitted it for delivery.
Got up with my alarm at 9. Took a shower. I can’t find the second set of Christmas cards that I bought but found the original set. Bah. Ate a small muffin.
Snow? It’s supposed to snow? Yikes.
I canceled my voice lesson etc. because I’m just too tired.
We finished the basement. I worked on my boxes from the crawlspace while the organizer cleaned out the linen closet and her assistant cleaned out the garage. The dumpster, which was empty Friday morning, is now full. Donovan (the assistant) is going to tamp stuff in the dumpster down. They wound up leaving early. All we have left is my bedroom!
Snow is coming down steadily but not sticking. Now it is sticking. Yikes.
Took a nap and really crashed out. Soaked the cat dishes. Paid the organizer. I bought more blue swatches from Clare. They have a blue-gray color that I kind of like. I got a bunch of their greens too.
Hmm. I kind of want to go to bed early. So. Freaking. Tired. Started a load of laundry. I need to do laundry before I go back to Urbana.
