Lazy Day

Mimi is convinced that I need feline supervision when I get ready for bed. I might drown myself in the sink!

Got up at 7 AM. Soaked the cat dishes. Zara is patrolling the area like a shark.

I’m sorting out my errands. I need to get stamps at the post office. I need more garbage bags, and I’d like to pick up a few more Lean Cuisine meals as well. Oh yeah, and hand soap.

Now I’m thinking to allow January for getting the paint and painting. I’d mostly be up here with the cats but would come down when they do the actual painting. Then I would move my stuff in February. The estate sale would happen in mid-February and the painting of my mom’s house would happen right after that. Mom’s house would go on the market in March.

Hmm. Maybe I will have to sell Mom’s car because I don’t have room in Urbana to park two cars unless I park one on the street.

Took a nap. Ate lunch. I'm feeling really tired, so I went on Stamps.com to print postage, but apparently I'll need a set of their labels. Oh well. Wait a minute--Mom had Christmas stamps, enough for what I need. Excellent. I'll write my cards tonight and mail them tomorrow. I'll do a Kroger delivery order later. Took another nap. I woke up when I heard someone say “Hello?” in a dream, and I thought that someone was in the house.

My WiFi isn't working, but I checked my mom's Comcast account, and it's current. I'm using my phone as a hotspot. Submitted my Kroger order. And I forgot the hand soap! Aargh! Comcast is back up.

Finished my turkey dinner. Zara is “telling” me that she wants food.

Got a headache, so I’m lying down again. Slept deeply. Crud, it says that my Kroger order is ready for pick up. I wanted it delivered.

Ugh. All I want to do is go back to sleep. Had a bite to eat. I think that Mimi wants me to go to bed too. I just took my nighttime meds.

Dad said that a rule of thumb is two rooms per painter per day. I'll call the paint place on Monday and find out how long it'll take to get the paint.
