A Day of Many Phone Calls
I’m looking at Nest thermostats, cams, and doorbells on eBay. I’m hoping to get a bargain. Hmm. Amazon has all of them on sale as a Cyber Monday deal. I’m trying to decide whether to get wired cams or battery powered. It would be tough to get to the cams to change batteries. Speaking of which, I’ll need smoke and carbon monoxide detectors too.
Got up at 5:30 AM. Put my clothes in the dryer. Fed the cats and myself. Went back to sleep for a while. Showered. I have a taste for hot Earl Grey tea, so I ordered some and some almond milk to be delivered. It's a cold and gloomy day.
One call done to the Urbana organizer. Emailed the estate sale guy and the Michigan movers. Called about emptying the dumpster. Called the Urbana movers, and they want me to repack some of the boxes. My plan is to go down on Thursday and repack boxes on Friday and Saturday, and move the stuff early next week, but they aren't answering their phone.
It's cold out. It's a good day for hot tea.
I thought about getting another player piano for my house. The one that I had while I was growing up was great fun. We used to crowd around it at parties and sing along.
I think that I’ll wait on the Nest stuff because they’re just nice to have and I’ll need to pay for paint and painters.
Got the garbage out and moved my car so that they can get at the dumpster. I’ll get the recycling in the morning.
I need to stage the cat carriers because we have a vet appointment tomorrow.
