[Joshua] Another Entry

[Two days ago]

Another days work with this "Gold Company" group, more coin and a bit of intrigue. I should really get a finders fee for that name, way better than "Bah-john and Pals". I definitely need to remember to find that old midget tomorrow morning, this sword keeps coming to mind and I'm being reminded of home more each passing day. But I guess that's a given when a local group of mercenary punks insinuate to be from Jehanna.

"Order of the Sword", I never heard of it, but that definitely sounds like a western group. Maybe they were just small news, or they were only recently formed. Or I really was just too sheltered behind those damned walls, I wouldn't have heard of them unless they were attacking the castle itself. I knew it would have been too much to just hope for some easterners with a good sense in sword-ware, but those scimitars definitely aren't from here. I suppose that makes one more reason to keep up with this job, I just hope the others don't catch on. I still need to finalize a story if they do.

I almost feel like it would have been proper just to put that Order brigand down, die by the sword like a proper Jehannan. But then again I guess he threw his honor away when he jumped ship and started doing dirty work for coin. Now doesn't that sound familiar shut up me.

Boy I'm sure glad I picked this thing up again, I've got more on my mind now that it's off my stomach.  I should probably get a lock or something, or just start writing in Primordial. I'm almost positive nobody understands that, too busy speaking bloody lizard talk. I doubt anyone will go through my stuff, I swear I'm the most subtle person here. Unless that lovely Briallen is more than she seems as well, I'm sure bards are garners of the trade. I should pick up an instrument or something, might make begging easier if it ever comes back to that.

Oh look at that, ranting. Tell-tale message that I should get a well earned sleep. Stay beautiful, journal.
