Title: No Really, I'm Fine
Author: daydream4way
Pairing: Jalex
Rating: NC-17 (overall)
Summary: Loosely based on the album No Really, I'm Fine by the Spill Canvas. It's the story of how Jack is completely, painfully in love with Alex, and how Alex's new relationship drives him over the edge. It's going to be quite a bit angsty and probably a little sad at times. Each chapter will be around 500 words, and will be titled after a different song on the album. So, as if it wasn't already obvious, you should really go listen to The Spill Canvas right now. That is all. Enjoy ;)

Chapter One: All Over You
"In my day dreams, in my sleep; infatuation turning into disease."

Chapter Two: Battles
"Its like a thousand paper-cuts soaked in vinegar; like the battles with yourself that leave you insecure."

Chapter Three: Appreciation and the Bomb
"I wish you would try a little harder."

Chapter Four: The Truth
"There is a part in every day, when I lie to myself and say that it's okay."

Chapter Five: Hush Hush
"Your heart is charcoal; smoking black. Why don't you just tie the mattress to your back?"

Chapter Six: Reckless Abandonment
"I'm not concerned, with pleasing all those little pricks and all their little scenes."

Chapter Seven: Low Fidelity
"This is where I start to miss you, more than I can bear. I hate this distance in between us, I don't think it's fair."

Chapter Eight: Bleed, Everyone's Doing It
"Nobody is immune to death, or the taste of our own ignorance."

Chapter Nine: Saved
"I am unraveling unbearably empty, and if this ground gives way I just hope that you'll catch me."

Chapter Ten: Lullaby
"While you were sleeping I figured out everything; I was constructed for you, and you were molded for me."

Chapter Eleven: Connect the Dots
"I know all your favorite spots, and tonight we will connect the dots."

Chapter Twelve (Epilogue): One Thing is For Sure
"One thing is for sure; you are worth living for."
