i get that people think snopes is also "a liberal conspiracy" because of the debunking it tries to do.
but when people post A Thing that can so easily be fact checked, and is so obviously a photoshopped fake that it's laughable, why bother posting and sending it? do people think that is secretly going to convince someone if they DO post it? do they think it's funny to perpetuate ridiculously photoshopped and erroneous shit? or DO they believe it?
i just don't understand this phenomenon.
i know people are stupid. i just don't understand how people... my friends... could be *that* stupid sometimes.
friends have different opinions sometimes. but don't perpetuate stupid shit floating around on the internet. you could also say "friends don't let friends perpetuate floating stupid shit around the internet" but it just falls on deaf ears. it's maddening. :(
