my scant pieces of larger furniture got moved today.  that means the bed and the bookcASES, really.  plus the new cat tower and some other odds and ends.  everything else can actually be moved in my car.  tomorrow i think will be a smaller haul, after my kung fu lesson.  i can start bringing some clothes and some kitchen things now.  I'm very ( Read more... )

in the past couple days i have been entertaining the thoughts of moving to a house.  i have an offer for a room for $600 a month, including utitilies.  all i have to do is walk the dog, which wouldn't be a problem.  however, i don't really want to move or become a roommate again.  i've moved so much in the last 6 years and i really enjoy living ( Read more... )

i can hardly wait until i am DONE with this move.  i think i only have one more load to do, and Frances will let me use her car for that, since i can't get the bookcase bottom into mine.  then it's just a few books (paperbacks, mostly), some food and utinsels to bring over.  thank goodness.  i'm ready to not move ever again.

well, i've got about 2/3 moved, including Dacya, who did NOT want to get in the carrier tonight.  she's much improved now, even used her new litterbox without me having to show her where it was.  it's got a lip so she can't fling as much litter as she has in the past.  i'm still pondering the tv stand.  the rest will come over in the next couple ( Read more... )

well, i'm so ready to move out.  i mean emotionally, anyway.  i like living where i am, to a degree, but it's too small and there's too many people there all the time.  i want my OWN bathroom.  one roommate would be fine, but not three.  nothing against them, don'tcha know, but i'd rather just have one other person.  Zu would like it more as well, ( Read more... )

i haven't minded working so late, but then i work in 13 hours again.  that's almost like not even leaving.  but that's OK, it'll help me get ready to move out in a few months or so, providing i can find a place for me and the queen!
