echo beach, faraway in time
my scant pieces of larger furniture got moved today. that means the bed and the bookcASES, really. plus the new cat tower and some other odds and ends. everything else can actually be moved in my car. tomorrow i think will be a smaller haul, after my kung fu lesson. i can start bringing some clothes and some kitchen things now. I'm very thankful for my friend Dave who helped me move the bed and graciously lent me the use of his truck today.
in some other interesting news (it was Interesting Day today, after all) I have reconnected with some people recently that hold perhaps some promise in the future. this could be fun.
the cats are very mellow today. all the furniture being gone and the big noisy machine (aka the vacuum) sure slows them down. and they look like they have no idea what to do without the bed here. I have the futon in place in my room.
