Have you heard of Barbiecore? Well, I haven't until listening to Screen Shot on BBC Radio 4 with Mark Kermode. This was a film culture episode about the Barbie Doll and the forthcoming movie called "Barbie". One short film that was mentioned and has never been officially released is Todd Haynes's movie on Karen Carpenter using a Barbie dolls, not as animation, but as part of the docudrama.
It is on YouTube and here it is. just one hour long but as Kermode says "it's riveting".
