The One-Person Manually-Assembled Drawbridge

I dreamed of assembling and constructing of this bridge over and over until I had it memorized.

- Base is constructed of free-moving light-weight concrete slabs.

- Span is light-weight tubular steel.

-All parts rotate about a single point into place.

Concrete base is lifted, rotated on its pointed end, and dropped in place.

Span is rotated about one corner and dropped into temporary position (since it is not long enough to fully span river).

Operator puts span in temporary position where bridge can be crossed so as to finish assembly.

Concrete slab on far side is moved into place.
