The One-Person Manually-Assembled Drawbridge

I dreamed of assembling and constructing of this bridge over and over until I had it memorized.

- Base is constructed of free-moving light-weight concrete slabs.

- Span is light-weight tubular steel.

-All parts rotate about a single point into place.

Wow, this is incredibly detailed. I bet you couldn't figure this out whil eyou were awake. I know I couldn't. I can't even assemble Ikea furniture.

Tonight can you get your subconscious to design a toybox that actually holds *all* the toys and yet still provides accessibility?

Well, my conscious brain has some thoughts on this.

Your toybox in its functionality, is essentially the same as a freezer, and it shouldn't be.

Freezer:
Purpose: long-term storage
Access: from top
Advantages: maximum use space, best at keeping cold from escaping
Disadvantages: difficulty of access

Fridge:
Purpose: short-term storage, frequent use
Access: from front
Advantages: ease of access
Disadvantages: poor use of space, not great at keeping cold in

If your toybox were vertically oriented like a fridge, you would be able to access everything in it, but at the expense of somewhat less capacity, and at the risk of having stuff fall out.

Okay, you've identified the issues and I agree.

The toybox *does* double for a bench (assuming we ever have company again), so reorienting it will be tricky. Mostly, what you are saying is that we need *shelves*.

Hmmm.
