I just got a last.fm account... On the eve of November, maybe it'll give me something to do while I attempt to madly write a novel. My NaNoWriMo attempt from 2004, "Space Pirate Chronicles" topped out at about 5000 words, 10x too short to qualify, but frankly I hated writing that thing by the end ( Read more... )

This evening I was listening to The Muppet Movie Original Soundtrack Recording, which I probably haven't done the whole way through since I was a small child. Obviously the big draw to the album is the song "The Rainbow Connection" sung by Kermit, but I dicovered that the song "I Hope That Something Better Comes Along" has a really awesome intro ( Read more... )

I just made this mix tape, it's pretty weak upon listening to it, but I guess it's the first creative thing I've done in like 8 months, and considering it's using other people's stuff, arranged in a certain way, that's pretty weak too.

Turns out I have 120 (36 were originally my parents), and I've spent over 400 dollars on it. It's kind of staggering because I didn't start collecting until May 2006. It's also staggering that I only spent $12 on my first record from eBay ( Read more... )

Well, so far so good. I've worked 3 days so far. 8 Hours a day, 8 weeks in summer, 8 5 days a week to go! Except I fully expect to take some of those weeks off. Just need to see which weeks have a long weekend and remember to work on those ( Read more... )

I currenly own over 40 records (plus a bunch that are technically still my parents, but I seem to have absorbed them into my collection). I've amassed them over a period of about 3 months.
