It's Leisure day in Moonlight Falls and Uhura has decided to spend the day at Eerie park with her new bff Connor. In no way is it a ploy to slowly win over his heart but wowing him with adorableness and ice-cream.
Uhura: "Hit me with you best shot Vega!"
Oh did he try.
Despite being soaked through Uhura seems happy to be spending the day in the sun with Connor. It's so cute I just can't.
Next on the list of super-awesome-fun-things-to-do-with-Connor is football. A few rounds of shootout and Uhura seems to be doing a good job of wearing poor Connor out.
She just seems pleased to score.
Connor definitely has a bad case of feels as far as Uhura is concerned. He keeps sending her the big puppy dog eyes when she isn't looking. It's adorable.
Connor: My turn. Gotta impress her with my superior football skills. You can do this Connor.
Uhura looks ready to bring her A Game.
Nope. She tried though.
Connor looks more concerned that Uhura's hurt herself than pleased to have scored an epic goal. Bless his little cotton socks.
Because they're both cheap, lunch takes the form of a hot dog eating contest once more. Uhura is sure to defend her current title.
But surprisingly Connor wins the bragging rights! Even the little werewolf girl beat Uhura. She's not having the best of luck today it would seem.
But Uhura won't let anything ruin her super-awesome-fun-day-with-Connor, so as the sun sets the torch gets whipped out and she tells the most thrilling ghost story a coward can tell.
Connor has the decency to look truly terrified, despite the story being so tame it was near laughable. Uhura made her most menacing faces though so the effort was clear.
The day was rounded off by unseasonal fireworks. Apparently Uhura wasn't paying attention to which fireworks she was lighting. The pair had a good day none the less and Connor even agreed to stop by hers the next day for lunch!
Lunch the next day wasn't going to plan. The kitchen was up in flames almost as soon as Uhura put the mac and cheese on the stovetop.
Her cowardly trait made itself known as the fireman arrived and subdued the flames inside the house.
As she cleaned up the kitchen, Connor due to arrive in an hour or so, the sink decided to break. Naturally.
This left Uhura very little time to prep herself. Lunch would have to be a simple salad as she didn't trust the stove anymore. Today needed to go well. She had been steeling herself for the moment to tell her best friend that maybe she liked him more than friends tended to like friends.
Connor arrived not long after, in a suit oddly enough. It was a shame as the hail was bound to ruin the suit. It seems his luck is just as Uhura's.
Once inside our beloved founder chose to take a page out of Connor's book and say it with flowers.
Connor looked like he was about to squeal with happiness.
Uhura took her moment to take the plunge. Come on girl, I believe in you.
Uhura: Oh thank plumbob I didn't miss.
Well that's an expression I never expected to see on Connor...
Things escalated pretty quickly from then on....
...not really. There was just a little making out before they called it a night.
Connor being the true gentleman that he is, insisted on sleeping in the majorly tacky spare room. Somewhere Darcy Dashwood is grinning like a loon.
As it turns out Connor has a nice little set up going on. Shameless fan service.
Shameless. This is really just to show how truly at home Connor made himself the next morning.
Not that Uhura minded of course.
So Connor moved in, and with that he had to get a job. He decided to pop down to the police station and see if they needed any recruits and bagged himself a job. Yay.
And here are his traits. He really is well suited to Uhura, it's no wonder they get along so well.
And on that note I shall leave you here. In the next update there will be possible wedding bells and maybe babies I don't know. These two are taking it really slow for a legacy couple. Not a bad thing, just a change of pace.
