Mass Effect 3 was announced today. It's not out for another year but it still makes my day/week.

Now all I need to do is come up with some sort of cryo chamber to sleep in until the game is out ;)

I haven't even seen the game in action but Felicia Day's tweet about lightsaber combat on the Kinect (formally Project Natal) makes me want one.

Looking forward to seeing more coverage of this during the week.

Earlier I discovered that someone has taken the source code to what was one of my favourite games (yes, even with the bugs) as a kid and they're in the process of updating it to run under windows. Not only that but they're massively updating the visuals as well ( Read more... )

I was told earlier (thanks to a friend via Twitter) that Filefront is shutting down in 5 days and all the content will be lost.

It's a great shame, the site was very good for downloading games and patches etc. Personally I found it an invaluable resource in creating the Darkness Saga. I'd never have been able to make those films as well as I did ( Read more... )
