general update
So, still working at Starbucks. Enrolled at Foothill, which in combination with trying to work 20+ hours a week is kicking my ass. Taking Algebra, Business Principles (or something like that), and Digital Photgraphy A - totals 13 units. Biz teacher leaves something to desire, and the book is worse. Photo teacher is the photography equivalent of Bob Ross - I keep expecting him to explain how he's going to clone stamp a happy little tree in the corner. Math teacher is a sarcastic ass, so amazingly I'm actually enjoying that class despite my distaste for mathematics.
On the topic of Photo, we are coming up on having our final portfolio due, eight images in total. If anyone can help with this, I would love you forever. In a platonic way. I swear.
I want to do a series of buildings/landscapes, but either a construction to destruction progression, or just an overall series of urban decay. Industrial buildings/complexes are also good, especially ones with a lot of light/shadow contrast. If you know of good local spots (say, no more than 1 hour drive from SJ) please let me know. If any of you want to turn this into a mass trip, that would be better. I haven't gone on a photo excursion in far too long.
