OMG *_____*

So, for
three_weeks_for_dw,
pitseleh did an amazing post on good naming conventions of original characters. Which I haven't been using. ._____.

And now I've found that they've done a culture sheet as well. *_____* (There is some talk of eating chihuahuas - discussion about carnivores not being bred to be eaten)

I want to fill this ouuuuut, but omg, I need to write the plot. But the world will dictate how people react and therefore how the plot goes~ Waaaa.

I've been wondering if the timescale of the master and slave thing means that Ras might go on her period at some point. Whereupon Adlran's going to probably panic. 'D: Aah! What's wrong? Are you hurt? Why is there blood? Are you dying?? D: D:!' (Haha, this would be amazing if he had an enhanced sense of smell, but he doesn't.)

I'm thinking about making a note: 'If things start to get boring, or there's a lull, Ras goes on her period!' Pfffffffffffffft. If it shows up, you'll know why. XDDD

Of course, this could all happen off screen, so anyway. XDDDD

Um. I currently have ten documents saved in my plotting folder for NaNo. >____> Yey for organisation and procrastination?

I've started to fill out this character sheet again. >D

I need more female characters... Okay, I need more characters in general (and not ones that are canon fodder and only serve to die a scene later). But I want more female characters that actually does stuff and aren't just there in the background. Need to have more mini-antagonists in the picture so that it's not just the One Big Bad and the rest of the antagonists that could possibly show up are avoided. Even if it does make sense. XD;;

NEED TO WORK ON PLOT.

Have finally stopped waffling with Aldran and agreed that he's agender - he goes along with being called 'he' because he thinks the pronouns are for what the person looks like (which, in most cases, would be true). Since he isn't telepathic/empathic/any -pathic that lets him into people's heads, he doesn't know what other people are thinking, and generally, the 'he'/'she' thing to him is a 'It's a Human Thing' so he doesn't think too much about it?

The biggest reason why I was waffling was because I didn't think it was an issue that would come up in the novel, but then, I didn't think knowing Shodin's chocolate preferences would turn up either. And if I don't know his worldview, then I don't know how he's going to react to things!

So, it does mean I might get this exchange at this point:
Ras: Argh. You wouldn't understand - you're a guy!
Aldran: *blank/worried face* But...what does what I look like have anything to do with this?
Except then the conversation would go around in circles, because I don't think the culture/Ras has done much thinking about gender identity.

So. Yes. I now have an explanation for his reaction in Recognition. X3

I was wondering if I should be refering to Aldran with gender-neutral pronouns (Ras doesn't have to since she's tagged him as a guy). Hm.

As for the other aspects of his identity: asexual and panromantic? I think all my characters are going to default to asexual *facepalm*, and yeeeeah, I'm already wanting to ship Ras and Aldran together. XD;;;
