The 40 KG part didn't really surprise me either. I mean he must have a been a walking, talking pile of stress; he was debuting without KAT-TUN and I always got the impression that Koki and Jin in particular were pissed off with him debuting without AT-TUN. What did make me sad was how shocked Jin and Koki was. I may be being a little bit harsh but the fact that they were so surprised kind of emphasises how little attention they must have been paying to him. I mean 6 stone isn't exactly a normal weight for a 19 year old! I'm also curious to see whether Yamapi noticed especially if Maki picked up on it...
Sorry I have a lot of issues with eating disorders. A consolation is that Kame actually looks healthy now. *hugs him*
I don't think you're being harsh at all, because I don't doubt that during that period Kame probably didn't have much contact with AT-TUN, either because of the tension particularly with Jin and Koki and because he was just flat out busy. I mean, sleeping for only a couple of hours for months. :| I kind of think that probably Nakamaru and Taguchi were probably the most supportive, though I'm not sure about Ueda (he didn't seem like he minded much though

Mmm I understand and completely agree. God Akame and KAT-TUN are so ridiculously angsty which is odd because we're supporting a band that were dead animals and cosplay for God's sake!
I also love how close KAT-TUN seem now. I completely agree with you about the light bit with Ueda and how causal Kame was about it. God I am seriously so in love with this band its embarrassing! :/
I also like to think Yamapi was aware because I do remember is his exceptionally skinny phase. Oh Kame!
In terms of Akame moments did you hear Jin say Kame? Because I swear to God he called him that and maybe I'm just flailing for nothing but I listened to the clip like a million times (because I am an obsessed fangirl)! Do i lie?
I know! I sort of flip back and forth between Arashi and KAT-TUN and then I kind of have to scratch my head a little because I go from hilarity and fluff to angst and drama, but...apparently I like it like that? I love them both though. I don't know what that says about me, except that I'm probably all over the place. :|
It wouldn't be KAT-TUN and Akame without the angst. XD Seriously though, I'm glad things are so settled for them now. It's not all touchy-feely and it's really the casual things that hint at their friendship, but somehow I find that even more endearing. It's just so...comfortable. Like how they say they never talk about stuff like girls and etc, which makes it seem like they don't interact at all, but then Kame would know instantly that it's this specific lamp Ueda was talking about, or how they all know Ueda's camera-face pose or how Ueda imitates Junno when he's playing a game (at least that's what I think it is from the raw). I don't know. Maybe compared with the drama and angst before these tiny bits make me

God I love talking to someone about KAT-TUN. I'm slowly and steadily getting a friend into them and I'm writing her an email with links to their songs/behind the scenes stuff/their drama's/pimp posts on each member etc and its already 10 pages long! *blush* I just find them so much more fascinating than Western bands. I mean we're going through an indie phase at the moment with bands like The Killers, The Kooks etc dominating the charts and I just find then so boring! Whereas with KAT-TUN you get to see them being dorks every Wednesday on CtKT as well as the monthly photo shoots. And thats not accounting all the awesome people who translate their web blogs! (Have you ever seen Kame's? It is full of emoticons. He is so awesome

I know exactly what you mean! I love to meta KAT-TUN and Akame and can probably meta for ages. They're just so fascinating. They're really not like Western bands, because what they're selling isn't just music, but their actual personalities. In a way, it can kind of reminds me of reality shows because what we're seeing is like a slice into their everyday lives (well, sort of, minus the sparkly costumes and feather boas, but then again, it is Johnny's; not very surprised if sequins and sparkles are of the norm for them). Asfjkl, I haven't managed to find Kame's translated web blog yet (I've seen one entry and his emoticons kill me. so cute.) but I wouldn't say no if you directed me towards it
