Apparently the economy decided we were in danger of me ending the year on a good note. I've been cranking away, collecting and reading statistics materials like crazy over the last week. Basically, I've been trying to develop a physical understanding of the statistics to be calculated, because it wasn't done way back when, and because my advisor don't know nothin bout this. So, it turns out that both of the DVDs I burned, one as a back up on May 21, one as a complete archive of my work burned on Saturday to give to my boss's new student, are coasters. Laundry done.

Analysis planned and begun to be implemented.

One file reader debugged and thoroughly tested after attempted analysis showed yesterday's version wasn't quite up to par.

Four jobs applied to, including a resume update and four customized cover letters.

All in all not bad. Not so good, not enough, but not bad.

Thankfully after this past week I'm a bit further along than this. My boss eventually sent me a copy of the revisions she made to the talk that I wrote for her.
