Quick, since I really need to go to bed so I can get my behind up and off to class tomorrow.

• It always surprises me that people care so much. I have been spoiled this birthday so much. And I was mere seconds from missing the birthday dance again the way I missed it two years ago -- refilling the big water jugs in the kitchen in the back.

An interesting post about the Finno-Ugric peoples and a celebration/summit they are holding soon. For people who know who they are (or at least might care that Hungarians are apparently part of the group, and for a view of some linguistics matters).

Hmmm. I can see that it was wise (if not totally intentional) to cut back on posting as things got angstier over the last couple of months -- tis very melodramatic and tugs at one's heartstrings to see a friend getting brutalized by life, irregardless of the specifics of what's going down.

So, tonight I was supposed to dance some blues. I did not, though, for it having been too many years since I've haunted the halls of a music building implied that it wouls be a wise idea to accept an invitation to attend a piano recital.
