Remus Lupins in the House!

Never get into a debate with me when it comes to Wizard Rock.

Last night Alex started arguing with me about which years the Dracos are in. He (and Rory) were convinced that Bradley was year 15, and Brian year 17. Only two years apart. I, however, know better... after all, Brian and I go way back... all the way back to the first episode of the Podcast of Awesome. And after a long debate ending with a bet, an unanswered phone call and a text message sent off to Brian Malfoy himself Alex got on his computer, brought up the album art for Party Like You're Evil, on the head of each guitar their years are written. He was convinced that Brian's guitar said seventeen. Neither of us had Ashe's number to ask her outright, we continued to wait for Brian to respond.

As we were leaving the library I heard back from Brian and was declared the victor. Alex owes me a dollar. Alex, however was not convinced and sent Brian a text saying "You're a lyng lion Bran Brian" That silly Gryffindor, he should know better than to go up against not only a Slytherin, but the Official Wizard Rock Expert of hp-oh.

The evening continued with a very tired trip out to eat where Alex tried to convince me that I was not a true Slytherin, but in fact a Gryffindor. He also told me I was full of it for letting Brian, "the most Hufflepuff of a Slytherin around" convert me to a Slytherin.

Informing Brian of this attempted conversion he told me to enter a doorway behind him and he'd see how much of a Slytherin I could be. I bit of an inside joke between the two of us and Rory...

The evening ended at the House of Awesome where Rory and I went outside and played in the snow/ice like drunken idiots. Sans alcohol of course. Alex wrote and recorded a song for Sue Upton's birthday that night, and Rory and I did backing vocals (aka "ooooo"s). The end result was quite awesome. I'll have to ask him to e-mail me the mp3... Of course, Rory and I heckled him throughout, "Who do you think you are? The Little Mermaid?" and there was this one guitar part that reminded us of one of Matt's songs "An Open Letter to the Wizarding Community).

Eventually passing out around 3 we woke up at varying intervals. (Someone had to entertain the kid, and I'm not talking about Alex)

Hugs, more heckling and pictures ensued as we said our goodbyes. Over all it was a very calm evening, and I really enjoyed myself. Alex and I had almost matching Led Zeppelin pants so we made fun of Rory's frog pj pants and all was well.

Next up, New York!
