Yuck! I woke up this morning and what do I find on my back doorstep when letting the dogs out to pee? A mostly eaten dead squirrel. At fist I though something weird got blown into the yard, then I saw what it was, ACK! Poor squirrel. SOMETHING IS BIG ENOUGH TO EAT A SQUIRREL ON MY DOORSTEP!! This means the dogs will not be going into the backyard for a late night pee for awhile. My mothers 16 year old Chihuahua is smaller then a squirrel. Coyote's eat squirrels but they can't get in through the fence. Osprey can be a danger to small dogs, but they usually fly during the day and have been known to even snatch a small dog or two, but they usually don't come on to the back screened room. Crows do, but usually just to eat dog kibble. and they do that early in the day. We do have owls in the area, they hunt at night. Do raccoons and opossums eat squirrels? We have those. Either way, backyard not safe for awhile. I need to find the culprit and tell him or her to leave.
I went to my daughters school thing yesterday. I was social and played nice with the other parents. They didn't have the kids do anything special, just a gathering where the parents came and brought dishes and had a nice potluck lunch with the kids. Then the kids exchanged gifts. There is this girl from India in Ashley's class and every time there is a meeting one of her many sisters show up to attend. This time the little girl said something about her mother and then pointed to a girl who looked no older then 20, "You're her mother?!?" I said shocked. The girl laughed, "No, just another sister." We both found it funny, I guess you had to be there, it doesn't look as funny now that I wrote it.
I got all the package wrapping done! I sent the things going to my aunts house for the family gathering upstairs to my mothers room and went ahead and put the things I bought for everyone under the tree. Because, why not?
I watched 'Big Hero Six' with Brandon, it was a great movie, very touching. Finished off 'Atelier' decent, and cute, but not a must see. Yesterday I watched 'Cockney's Verses Zombies' Now that one is worth watching! I laughed my ass off during most of the movie. 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' opening today, anyone going to see it? I have to wait for DVD, but still looking forward to it. I don't worry about spoilers because that's never really taken away a movie for me, well, except 'Elfen Lied' I did not want to know the ending of that one, and someone told it to me ahead of time.
Right, starting to ramble, see ya!
