Dear Diary
My Camera is working! Just after I got the new batteries today the memory card decided to die, it possibly got corroded when the batteries blew up in the camera as the card is next to the batteries. I don’t know I like taking pictures, but I don’t know all that much about cameras.
A few days ago I was mentioning that I had made a dress and underskirt from an old sheet and a valance. This is the outfit:
And as the underskirt doesn’t show much in the picture, the underskirt:

My Hoodie:
First thing I ever sewed. Don’t laugh that hard, ok?
Second thing I sewed. I was feeling more confident:
The dress my daughter insisted I make her from a blanket pattern design. Store clerk thought I was odd for saying I was making my daughter a dress with this, but she loves it, so I don‘t care:
The last dress I made:
I was going to go with my daughter to the zoo today but it rained and rained. We ended up going to the shopping mall where we did a lot of looking around as it was Sunday and we got there before the stores opened.
Ashley rode the Merry-Go-Round. Then we went to Walmart where I got some Mod Podge. It is this stuff that you use for découpage. I have never tried découpage but I always wanted to and now I have the stuff to try it with. I also got the batteries for my camera.
Off to the Dollar tree where I got a new sketch tablet and some ink pins for Ashley as she loves drawing and prefers ink pins. I also got her some barrettes for her hair, and a hot wheels car, and a plastic skeleton. I also got this thing that counts my steps. I wanted to try one for when I go running, but they are usually expensive, seeing one at the dollar store was a nice surprise.
We went to the grocery store for carrots. Then mother started to make a meatloaf, but she went away so I finished cooking it. Then I took pictures of things I made and uploaded the pictures. I am going to go play around on Pinterest for a few before continuing with this long lasting Buffy/Angel marathon.
That is pretty much the whole of my Sunday.
