Dear Diary

So this morning I got up and refashioned a t-shirt into a long loose a-line tank shirt. This is a simple upcycle idea and works well for both guys and gals. To get started you need an oversized t-shirt. I like to use XL because I like them long and XL has more length, if you are a tall guy you might want to go up to XXL, you’ll be trimming it down to fit a bit better on the side but it will still be loose, what you are going for is the length.

The whole how to is under the cut.

So after making the shirt I threw it on along with a pair of bicycle shorts, pulled my hair back into a ponytail, tossed on my converse and went for a two mile run. The weather was great out today. It wasn’t overly hot. It was breezy. It was about everything a person could ask for while running outside in the middle of the afternoon. I usually run earlier but the shirt making took up some time and made me start the run a bit late.

I saw a little cricket cross my path then stop moving and just stared at me, I had to go around him. Then a butterfly blocked my way by hovering over my shirt for a few before it took off. Then a couple squirrels crossed my path. Seeing all the little animals out and about made the run feel happy, free, and magical. Besides, crickets are lucky. :)

I baked Ashley and I fish for dinner. Mother wanted to make some weird unappetizing looking pasta soup stuff. Brandon opted for leftovers because he doesn’t eat fish and there was that weird unappetizing looking pasta soup stuff.

I made some coffee and I am going to have a nice long soak in the tub in a few after I get Ashley to bed and relax.
