This may sound rude, but I am sick of people excusing introvertism for being dismissive of others around them. It's one thing to be shy and uncomfortable with talking to people, strangers, or enduring small talks. It's another to automatically dismiss a small talk's value unless it somehow helps further their personal agenda. This is not being introvert. This is called being selfish.
