In other news, going out to get another shot and then dinner tonight. ETA. Dinner was yummm. Crab on sticky rice, especially. I haven't enjoyed a chinese crab dish that much in a long while. Lack of any sugar in the sauce makes such a wonderful difference. <3 Also, spareribs. <3
I figured out why I'm so cold and 16-18°C feels like 12 (~54°F to the guys down south). It's really cold on the mountain. Difference of fleece + sweater v. sweater. So it probably really is around 12-13 (with the wind). =__=
A lady at the doctor's also prompted me to google the riots. Sigh. Canada, you are cool. Why do you not act cool. No post is bad enough.
This is just shameful, Vancouver. Messing with property and people, it has nothing to do with the game. And it doesn't help that transit, traffic, and law enforcement downtown isn't prepared to deal with large events downtown, let alone riots. G20 in Toronto pissed me off once it became violent, but at least it wasn't about a hockey game you've lost before. Bloody embarrassing. Just as bad as our 'new' PM. I promise, guys, despite all this ruckus, we're
actually nice, laid-back folk. Going to drown sorrows in french food tomorrow.
