In the last 48 hours, it has poured rain, had sideways snow, hail, wind that’s thrashed the plants, little lightweight white pellets that look like packing peanuts but tiny, and brilliant sunshine. No tornados yet, but time will tell. A couple *have* come right through our yard in the past! Little tiny ones, but enough to uproot some pretty massive pine trees out on Sunnyside.
Have felt like I was hit by a truck the last couple of days. I’m not sick- no fever, and I haven’t been into town in two weeks- it’s just a damnable fibro flare. And of course I ate too much today, and I haven’t even had dinner yet. Which will be very small. Never put an open bag of chips where I can reach it…
Did manage to do a little yard clean up (in between various foul weathers) and yesterday FINALLY started some seeds- cosmos, calendula, balsam, dill, alyssum, etc. Didn’t start any pansies or petunias or snaps because I figure it’s too late. I may change my mind on the petunias, though. And last I heard (he goes back and forth continually) Tim is going to go ahead and start a couple of tomatoes even though it's really late for them. We’re six weeks until last frost, so a lot of things are actually right on time. A few things are coming up outside; the hellebore has new buds coming up, the early pulmonaria is up, lilacs have swollen buds. And we’re both sneezing like crazy the last two days, so I’d say the pine trees are spewing pollen.
My lord, the cat in my lap let a fart so bad I’m checking my lap for shit…
