General Entry - Good Movies with a touch of truth

I recently went to see this weekend The Day After Tomorrow and Raising Helen... oh and last week I went to see Shrek 2. All of them I must say have been very good and entertaining. Shrek 2 was excellent and the music score was fun to hear. I actually loved that song they sang about needing a hero... To bad its only a fairy tale. Realty seems to have a way of crushing you from the inside out... or maybe it is just me. The Day After Tomorrow was surprising good. I know alot of what is in the trail is the movie but my it was good still. It pulled on the heart strings some and the instant freeze was very nicely done... I have actually had a dream in which that happened and it happened almost exactly the way they did it. Raising Helen made me cry some. Just to have the children lose their parents like that was so sad... To see them huddled in that closet because it smelled like their mom :_( and that cartoon they had before the show was.... well it was really interesting. Guess you would have just had to see them...

All this though is more a distraction though from what is really going on in my life at the minute, nothing that is good though at the minute. I miss having someone there to care about though. I miss my ex but I cant force myself to call him. It just hurts to much right now.
