Battery-less flash light

Is the storm really not going to affect Metro Manila? I'm still really scared. Been scared since 2006 typhoon Milenyo. But we didn't panic buy yesterday. I heard the lines at the grocery stores were really long.
I didn't really have to buy batteries for light.
We have a few gas lamps (of the antique kind).
And now I have a flashlight with LED bulbs totally powered by wind-up. My dad just gave it to me.
Just crank up this lever for a few minutes, then you have light for a few hours.
I love this gadget.
