On a pleasant note, I do enjoy cooking in my new kitchen.
I bought some veal meatballs on special over the weekend. Have you ever made your own meatballs? Total pain. I should make a load an freeze them sometime, but I digress. Anyway, fried those babies up last night and made a mushroom cream sauce to go with them. Served with a rice pilaf. Quite tasty.
Speaking of food, I'd love to just eat myself into contentment at lunch today. (Can you tell I'm hungry?) But that would just lead to me gaining weight, which would lead me to feel bad about myself, and oh great, another spiral.

Spaghetti Bolognese is the next kitchen adventure. My last few have not been very good, so here's hoping a decent oven will help....
