Leaving for GenCon tomorrow morning, bright and early. Very excited.
Tonight though, Carrie and I are taking Mom out for dinner for her birthday. I'd win son of the year but I'll be out of town on Friday, her actual birfday, so maybe I'm no better than Jon.
The patio has been pushed back to tomorrow morning. The color we picked was out of stock. Not to mention the contractor sent me to the wrong place to pick it out, and never bothered to get color samples to us, even though we asked him six times. This guy's a d-bag who spends more time trying to placate people than actually giving over any useful information. At least the guy who'll actually be doing the concrete is pretty cool. Long, short, I'll get to see how it all turned out next Monday.
