Burrito Quest continues on a downward spiral. Week 29 saw saw the Gobbler, which was some kind of salt lick of a burrito. I was doubtful that anything could match the unpalatable nature of the Eye Opener's greasiness, but this one came close to, if not matching it.
After the burri-tastrophe, I ran a session of Ghost/Echo. It was pretty fun. The terse nature of the rules set encourages a lot of on-the-fly decision making, which also makes the game, I think, a good exercise session for gm's. The session was pretty straightforward and heavy on action. Hackers/Ghosts get busted in the VRNet/Ghost World, run from the Security/Wraiths, use the Datastream/Echoes to find out who double crossed them, then confront them, ultimately using data mining to get and rebroadcast the bad guys talking about the heist to clear their names. I'd definitely like to do it again, tweaking the suppositions about the world to evoke something different, though.
