I enjoyed the presentations last week where everyone had their own side for and against robots. Andre representing the creators, David as a policemen, Kimberly as a regular person, Chi as a parent, and Leah as a Representative for a better society.
What I found interesting was how each side tried to persuade us into thinking what they wanted. Kimberly with the cartoons from the cast of the Brak Show, when Thundercleese blasts Zorak for ruining the garden. David who used Andres words against him, "Why would you want a robot that could withstand a 50 caliber and land mines?". And Chi with the picture of his children who depicted police officers as fat lazy drunken cats and how people prefer to be frisked by robots rather than people. Killer stuff.
In arguments wise I think the team that was against robots won this round. The other side tried hard, but the side against was working hard at my emotions. Although I wouldn't mind a robot protecting us.
