Sorry for the late post, when I got home I just fell asleep.
check the time without look at the computer screen...
no wall clocks either...
Most likely you just used your cellphone or watch.
My friend was with a group of people one day and someone asked for the time, immediately everyone checked their cell phone. How often have we ever left the house without our cellphone? iPod(or any other type of mp3)? Do we even notice other people when they are using this devices?
Ok time to stop beating around the bush.
Like the book said we are becoming like cyborgs and we can't stop it.
Does it scare us? No.
What happens when these devices break down? We get upset.
1.Once had a friend who dropped her cellphone in the toilet(don't ask how). It broke of course, but she couldn't get over it for about a couple of days.
2.My friend who always opposed to these cellphones, got one.
3.My cop friend has a side kick and a cellphone. He decided to get two jobs and get a GPS nav.
4.I was like the first person in my high school to get a cellphone, it was fun. People asked me if they could burrow it to make a call, and I would look at them from my all high and mighty pedestal and said "Sure~". I think the popularity soon took its effect.
So we are becoming cyborgs because everyones doing. Peer Pressure.
My point.....
cyborgs are cool.
