So today my easy going boss let me take the day off to go dress shopping with my sister in law K because she and her two other bridesmaids from Phoenix were going. So I went. The dress is actually pretty workable, I mean, it's not nearly as full in the skirts as I like, but I tend to be a bit extreme about that what with my fat ass and all. I like my skirts to flare out from high on the waist and this is the type that flares low so if I buy it to fit my top well it clings at the hips and leaves a little pocket of cloth at the stomach. So I had to get it a size too big. But it's not like it's a sheath or impossible or anything.
The other girls said it looked flattering on everyone.
It is strapless, but that's what tape is for. And it'll be a nice dark blue so I could concievably wear it again when we go to the opera.
So now I have until April to get into better shape.
Blech.
