Quote of the Day:
D: I'll wear whatever you want. It's your right to make the bridesmaids look bad if you want to.
K: I thought about that. Making everyone wear little bonnets and shepherds frocks.
D: ...Actually I could probably rock that look.
W: Yeah, she probably could. So you'd have one happy bridesmaid.

So Syracuse was kind of dismal and dirty and rained on me the whole time I was there.

Otherwise, I had a really good time, though I spent a lot of it hopped up on a mixture of benadryl, dramamine, and alcohol.

K's graduation dinner thing had a hosted bar. It was pretty sweet. The dinner was nice, the food was good and I got a large piece of tiramisu for dessert.

The day of I had the chance to attend a lovely conference put on by the North American chapter of ISKO. It apparently was a higher level than I was kind of expecting - everyone seemed to be PHDs or professors and things, but I think I did learn a lot and managed to follow pretty much everything. I was quite pleased.

On Saturday we all piled into William's parent's car and went on a wine tasting tour around Seneca Lake. That was pretty awesome, most of the places had cards where you could pick what kinds of wines you'd like to try so I even got to have mostly whites (I picked a couple sweet reds, but mostly whites.) There was also a pretty cool meadery that did fruit wines and seemed to specialize in sweet wines. Also a couple pretty awesome ports available.

Sunday we had to go back, already, and the trip was a little rough. Stopover in Detroit, turbulence, turbulence because our plane got a little too close to another plane...stuff like that. But at least my eardrums did not explode.
