The Supreme Court judge reversed the decision of the review officer, and decided map files are not records under the Freedom of Information (FOIPOP) Act. Because the city now has fees associated with this data, he ruled the city would be financially harmed ( Read more... )

So it seems I FOI'cked up. The Supreme Court summarizes the process thus: The appellant must complete Part A of the appropriate Form. The appropriate Form is then filed with the Prothonotary of the Supreme Court along with the attachments as Appendices required in the particular Form itself. Today was the deadline to file my appeal to the Supreme Court. The city finally responded, and they are predictably not agreeing with the judge's recommendation:

I now have less than 30 days to file an appeal to the Supreme Court if I wish to pursue this matter. Any advice would be appreciated.
