...Dany-teacher mode on!
Had the interview yesterday and everything went on wheels...I still can't leave my job at the Cloisters Museum (not that I'm in a hurry to do so, though it would be nice to have a better pay), as I'd be giving classes once a week at my most (once every month and a half on each center where the company has an agreement), but anyway it will give me some fresh air from what I've been doing since the year started...plus the experience sounds so interesting! I'm supposed to prepare art history classes specially made to stimulate attention, concentration and memory on the short run, so the idea is to introduce an artist/art movement, and then preapre activities with comparing and contrasting, memory tests, multiple choice questions and such...I'd also have to make them talk and create something based on the artist(s) seen. My first class will be on September 29th, though next week I'll be attending a class prepared by the teacher who runs the cinema courses (there are courses of everything: cinema, art, literature, music, dance, logic...you name it!), so I can appreciate the working dynamic. Also, it's very important that I attend that class, as that will be my first group, so I'll have a chance to meet them before I introduce myself as their teacher. Luckily, I'd be working with no more than 12 people per group, so it won't be so...overwhelming.

On a side note, I did have another interview last Friday, though I'm almost sure I won't be called again. I applied for a 3-month internship as a museum guide at the exhibition space of the Itaú Bank, just to find out in the middle of the interview that they only need people to cover the morning shift, the time when I attend classes at college...just my luck! So even if my parents keep telling me that at least going through that interview was a valuable experience (they asked me EVERYTHING...they even made me do the typical psychological test where you've got to draw a person, a tree and a house, and write a story about it...I had heard about it before, but never expected to be tested for the position I was applying to!), to me it was a waste of time, and a pointless reason to be anxious¬¬

Anyway, right now I can't ask for anything else (ok, a little bit more focus on my studies would help...lately I've been procrastinating like hell:P)...between this and my trip to come (I'm leaving in two-days time!), I'm done:D
