While Waiting for the Shower...
Sitting here in some sweats, because the clothes I had on I burned. They smelled like evil, and that odor never truly comes out. And as a gentleman, I decided to let Emma have the shower first although between me and the walls I wanted to offer to help. I know, bad Daniel. Sadly that thought made me think of the dream a few days ago, and hence why I'm wearing baggy, baggy sweatpants. But, at least I'm not dwelling on whats really bothering me, and thats this strange sense of dissension in the cabal. Annorax, okay like me he's a kid and he doesn't feel anyone should tell him what to do, sure I'm 18 too I get that. What's the Rabbi's excuse? No seriously, what makes her more important than the things the Mobius cabal does? Nearly everyone of us has these uber powerful Fae artifacts. Wong has Sennex's dagger, Rusty has the Lazarus dagger and we're the caretakers of the one and only 10th sphere.
Wong's family was killed because he had Sennex's dagger and wouldn't part with it, and there are things that want the Lazarus dagger as well. Why did Annorax just think he was going to walk out with the 10th sphere? I don't know. The fact is, he and Ruth are the only dissenters of the cabal, the rest of us are on board and HAVE LIVES thank you both so very little. Dear god, look at all Else does. Rusty, and Wong. They're all doing things besides being Mages, but when its time to our cabalist duties they come. Else for the love of God is married and I didn't see anyone else step up and take the reins. And...hey...wait...this is stupid.
No, wait. So the problem is that the two of them, Ruth and Annorax believe they are too important or too big to be willing to endanger themselves, right? Okay, so why didn't Annorax run when he woke up? Why did he join the fight? If Ruth is bloody important shouldn't she have run when the demon showed up, since no one can do what she does? That demon could have ripped her to pieces, and Annorax as well, so if what they do is FUCKING important why didn't they safeguard that and leave? Because the very thing they're fighting and struggling against, THEY'RE ALREADY DOING!!! So why the flying fuck, is there an argument? Verbally they're kvetching, but in action they're doing what it is Else is asking them to do. So what the fuck?
Oh bugger it, I've got exactly 11 hours, 25minutes and 34 seconds before this is an issue. So I'm going to shower, try my new time powers on the shower, just need to look back about ten minutes. God, I must have been a total perv before, but no seriously I need to get ready so me and Emma can go get dinner. Its been a long day and doesn't look to let up anytime soon, "Miles to go before I sleep" and all that. But at least I get to be with Emma, and the Nightgaunt didn't get her, thank god or I would have totally freaked. So off to clean up and spend some relaxed downtime before the fireworks go off again.
