I am loving The Devil the way I haven't loved a drama in quite a bit. This is the only drama I am watching right now, literally. If you know me, you know how rare that phenomenon is. Also, there has been no fast-forwarding at all, an equally almost-unheard-of-phenomenon.
This said,
morwen-perehdil's awesome Goong post did inspire me to continue with my rewatch once I finish The Devil (I love Goong as much as ever, but got sidetracked). Now, I plan to mostly marathon the remaining six eps on a plane trip I'll be going on shortly (it is sweet, soothing crack of awesomeness on a ride) but I did watch ep 18 a while back and yes, as gleefilled as ever. I have been too busy with The Devil to cap Goong ep 18 properly, because...obsessive. But it makes for a nice break in a busy day, so here are caps from ep 18.
I think I died LOLing at this scene, where Chae Gyung is accidentally trapped in a closet and sees Shin starkers.
She wants to crawl out, but her imagination paints horrid pictures:
Not that the reality ends up much better. She ends up falling asleep and falling out of the closet, crawling out and terrifying Shin out of his wits:
Yeah, Shin, that hanger makes such a good weapon. Yeah.
Thoughts deviate from hilarity for a bit, on part of yours truly:
But not for long, because CG's next comment sends me back into LOLness:
His world comes crashing down. ROFL
This scene is amusing me, but not as much as Shin's sweater. WTF!
LOLOLOLOLOL. Chae Gyung has played a prank while he slept. Why, how manly you look, Your Princely Highness:
A prank of his own?
*swoooon*
So much prettiness:
I love this scene with a wrong, wrong love.
*ooooh, jealous!*
The first time I watched this, it completely escaped me that he kissed her as a reaction to her comment about being more open about his feelings. EEE!
Haaands!
I am sick. Totally sick. Because he is forcing a kiss on her, and he paused to lean in to kiss from another angle, too, holding her face with his hands, yet I think it's totally hot. Heeeelp.
It's a really loooooong kiss, trust me.
She finally manages to shove him off and she is PISSED (they had the usual crossed-wires thing where she thought he didn't want her in his future because she overheard only a part of his comment to Hyo-Rin which was actually about wanting CG, blah blah blah)
Two words: Idiot Boy.
And so she slaps him:
It's totally surreal watching The Devil and Goong back to back. But the odd thing? I don't confuse Shin and Seung Ha at all, they act and look very different so it never interferes one character with the other.
